The Tony nominees star in readings of Interlude at the Playhouse and Farewell to the Theatre.

Dominic West is in talks to lead a production of Harley Granville-Barker's political play Waste at the National Theatre, the Daily Mail reports.

Theatre For A New Audience's 24th Season will end with Moliere's Don Juan, March 18- April 13. The production directed by Bartlett Sher will officially open at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, March 23.

Before commencing its Off-Broadway season, Theatre for a New Audience jumps first across the pond. The company take the world premiere of Bartlett Sher's staging of Cymbeline to the UK's Royal Shakespeare Company in their first trip outside of the United States. Cymbeline opens Nov. 22 for a run on Stratford-Upon-Avon's Other Place studio theatre and will play through Dec. 8.

The world-famous Shaw Festival at Niagara-On-The-Lake in Ontario, Canada, continues, with The Two Mrs. Carrolls proving the most popular show so far. The production, originally scheduled to close Oct. 25, has been extended to Nov. 23, adding 28 extra performances. This is a big week for the Festival, with openings of The Children's Hour (July 9), The Conjuror Part 2, and The Seagull (July 11).

The new season at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, announced Feb. 20, emphasizes the strong link that Mirvish Productions have with London's Old Vic, which the company also owns.

Artistic Director Christopher Newton has announced major casting for all productions in the 1997 Shaw Festival at Niagara on the Lake, Ontario.

The Peter Hall Company at London's Old Vic has announced its inaugural, nine-month season, to run March 4-Dec. 6, 1997. The repertory company will play seven days a week, offer 10 performances a week and keep 12 plays in repertory during the 40-week season.
