On Oct. 25, the first preview date of Kiss Me, Kate, Broadway will once again be singing such tunes as "Why Can't You Behave?," "Wunderbar," "Another Openin', Another Show," "So in Love," "Too Darn Hot," "Where Is The Life That Late I Led?," "Always True to You in My Fashion" and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare." On Jan. 25, 2000, DRG Records hopes the whole country will be singing those songs again. That's when DRG will release the original cast recording of the new Kate revival, opening Nov. 18 at the Martin Beck Theatre.

The company of Kiss Me, Kate sang, danced and schmoozed for the press at an "open rehearsal" in Manhattan Oct. 7, 18 days before the Oct. 25 initial preview of Broadway's first revival of the 1948 Cole Porter classic.
