Additional casting has been announced for the Theatre for a New Audience production of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. The long-awaited production was originally slated for March 2020, and was postponed due to the shutdown of live theatre at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will run at the Polonsky Shakespeare Center from November 4 through December 3.

Arin Arbus will direct Beckett's renowned play, which follows Vladimir and Estragno, who are down on their luck but always keep their meetings with Godot, a figure who promises deliverance—but never shows up.

The previously announced Michael Shannon and Paul Sparks will star as Estragon and Vladimir, respectively. They will be joined by Toussaint Francois Battiste as a Boy, Jeff Biehl as Lucky, and Ajay Naidu as Pozzo. 

The production will feature scenic design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Chris Akerlind, sound design by Palmer Hefferan, choreography by Byron Easley, movement consultation by Marcia Polas, creative consultation by Bill Irwin, voice direction by Andrew Wade, properties supervision by Jon Knust, fight direction by J. David Brimmer, and dramaturgy by Jonathan Kalb.
