Nov. 9: Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock — The Musical bounds onto Broadway starring Alex Brightman as music teacher Dewey Finn, the role made famous by Jack Black in the film. Joining him are Sierra Boggess, Spencer Moses, Mamie Parris and more.

OPENING Nov. 5: Feel the rhythm of the music getting stronger in On Your Feet!, the new musical based on the lives of seven-time Grammy winner Gloria Estefan and her husband, producer-musician-entrepreneur Emilio Estefan. The show opens at Broadway's Marquis Theatre under the direction of two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell.
Nov. 8: Two icons unite in the new Broadway musical Allegiance: "Star Trek" legend George Takei and Miss Saigon and Les Miz star Lea Salonga lead the cast of this World War II-set story inspired by Takei's childhood. Nov. 9: The Normal Heart's John Benjamin Hickey and Patrick Breen reunite for Peter Parnell's comedy-drama Dada Woof Papa Hot at Lincoln Center Theater, about the challenges faced by gay parents.
Nov. 9: You might recognize Piper Perabo from her former bar dancing days in "Coyote Ugly." The Golden Globe nominee leads the cast of MCC's Lost Girls, a hard-hitting Off-Broadway drama about a blue-collar family struggling to rise above their prospects.
Nov. 10: Following a sold-out London run, Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games arrives in New York for a limited Broadway engagement. The show features Irish dance mixed with holographs, special effects lighting, dancing robots and world-champion acrobats.
Nov. 11: St. Ann's Warehouse welcomes the return of the Donmar Warehouse for the U.S. premiere of Henry IV, which features an all-female cast and is set against the backdrop of a women's prison. The show is helmed by Phyllida Lloyd, who directed Donmar's landmark all-female re-imagining of Julius Caesar.
Nov. 12: Visionary director Ivo van Hove makes his Broadway debut with the transfer of his Olivier Award-winning production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge. The Young Vic staging received critical acclaim and immediately sold out its initial engagement.
Nov. 15: Emmy Award winners Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf lead the cast of the new Broadway suspense thriller Misery, based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. LAST CHANCE
Nov. 15: Due to high ticket demand, The Labyrinth Theater Company extended its world premiere of Empanada Loca, the captivating new Sweeney Todd-inspired show starring Tony nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent). Written and directed by Aaron Mark, the show plays its final performances this week. Nov. 6: Tony winner Chita Rivera's concert special, "A Lot of Livin' to Do," which was filmed Jan. 26 in the midst of a heavy NYC snowfall, airs on PBS stations around the country. The evening features songs from West Side Story; Sweet Charity; Chicago; Kiss of the Spider Woman; Bye Bye Birdie; The Rink; and The Visit.
Nov. 8: Jersey Boys celebrates its 10-year anniversary on Broadway with a special performance.
Nov. 13: The annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular returns to Radio City Music Hall, featuring the world-famous Rockettes.
Nov. 13: The acclaimed 2014 Lincoln Center production of Act One, based on the memoir of Broadway playwright, director and lyricist Moss Hart, airs on PBS. The production stars Santino Fontana, Tony Shalhoub and Andrea Martin.
