Cabaret & Concert News Betty Buckley Shares Her Story Songs in Sag Harbor July 10 The Tony-winning performer will sing Jason Robert Brown, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and more.

Tony Award winner Betty Buckley returns to Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor July 10 to perform her cabaret show as part of the company’s Music Mondays series.

The concert in the summer resort community on Long Island’s east end marks her return to the theatre where she had a successful 2015 run in the award-winning musical Grey Gardens, later encored at the CTG/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

Buckley told Playbill she will share a collection of songs drawn from her recently released solo album, Story Songs, including "High & Dry" by Radiohead, "Old Flame" by Joe Iconis, "Chanson" by Stephen Schwartz, "You've Got To Be Taught" by Rodgers & Hammerstein, and "Cassandra" by Jason Robert Brown.

Buckley offered acclaimed performances in Broadway's Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, Song & Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1776, Triumph of Love and Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, and she starred on the London stage in Promises, Promises, Dear World and Sunset Boulevard, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her work in the latter.

Buckley played a prominent role in M. Night Shyamalan’s 2017 film Split, starring James McAvoy.
