Broadway Bares Broadway Bares: On Demand Strips Down to Essentials Tonight More than 150 dancers are promised for the annual fundraiser.

The small screen is the theme for this year's Broadway Bares fundraiser, which benefits Broadway Care/Equity Fights AIDS. And, for the fourth year in a row, Nick Kenkel mans the director's chair for Broadway's biggest, barest burlesque show.

The 26th edition of the annual fundraiser, titled Broadway Bares: On Demand, is being presented June 19 at the Hammerstein Ballroom for two performances, 9:30 PM and midnight, when more than 150 of the hottest male and female dancers in New York will take to the stage.

“Whether you’re searching for the thrill of victory or just your moment of zen, Broadway Bares: On Demand will feature everything you love about television with a brand ‘nude’ look,” according to press notes.

“What started as me and six Broadway friends wanting to do more for Broadway Cares has turned into an annual night-to-remember that you simply can't miss,” founder Jerry Mitchell said in a recent statement. “I created a show from my heart and audiences have continued to embrace it. Now every year, we get to take off our clothes, raise a heck of a lot of money and truly make a difference in the lives of men, women and children across the country.”

The first edition of Broadway Bares raised $8,000. Last year's Broadway Bares: Top Bottoms of Burlesque raised a record $1.6 million, bringing the all-time Bares total to $14.3 million.

Hammerstein Ballroom is located in Manhattan Center at 311 West 34th Street.

VIP tickets include open bar and reserved table seats from special viewing areas. Also available are the exclusive "Stripper Spectacular" package, which includes a reserved table seat at either show, admission to a private cocktail party with Mitchell, a backstage tour and more, and the "Producers' Circle," which includes the "Stripper Spectacular" offerings plus unprecedented access all weekend long.
