Tony nominee Megan Hilty, back on Broadway in the new musical Death Becomes Her, and EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls, The Color Purple) are part of NBC's annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center December 4.
Emmy and Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson hosts the holiday celebration, which is broadcast at 8 PM ET on NBC and simulcast on Peacock.
In addition to Clarkson, Hilty, and Hudson, audiences will also be treated to performances from the Backstreet Boys, Dan + Shay, Coco Jones, Little Big Town, RAYE, Thalia, and the Radio City Rockettes. NBC’s Today anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, and Craig Melvin are once again part of the tree lighting.
The annual holiday special celebrates the lighting of a 74-foot tall, 43-foot wide Norway Spruce from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The tree weighs approximately 11 tons, is adorned with more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights, and topped with a three-dimensional Swarovski star.
Prior
to the primetime telecast, an additional live hour of the special will
be broadcast on all NBC-owned TV stations and on numerous NBC
affiliates starting at 7 PM ET. This
live hour is hosted by Access Hollywood's Mario Lopez and WNBC news anchors
Natalie Pasquarella and David Ushery.
Christmas in Rockefeller Center is produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment with Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay as executive producers. Glen Weiss directs.
