Complete casting has been announced for the new David Mamet play Bitter Wheat, which begins previews June 7 at the Garrick Theatre. Mamet directs his play, inspired by the Harvey Weinstein scandal. Opening is scheduled for June 19 for an extended run through September 21.

Malkovich (Dangerous Liaisons, Being John Malkovich) plays Barney Fein in a cast that also features Doon Mackichan as Sondra and Ioanna Kimbrook as Yung Kim Li, as well as the newly announced Alexander Arnold as Roberto, Teddy Kempner as Doctor Wald, Matthew Pidgeon as The Writer, and Zephryn Taitte as Charles Arthur Brown.
Set and costume design are by Christopher Oram. Lighting is by Neil Austin.
Mamet's plays include Glengarry Glen Ross, Oleanna, and American Buffalo. Bitter Wheat is produced by Jeffrey Richards, Steven Traxler, and Smith & Brant Theatricals.
