Dave Solomon directs the limited engagement, which officially opens Jan. 30 following previews that begin Jan. 21 at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre in Hollywood.

The work "is a new American play set in 1969 about a tribe of nonconformist friends, who want nothing more than to make music, do drugs and make love. When they suddenly find that they must face a lottery, that will send at least one of them to Vietnam, it propels them to take daring and dangerous steps to dodge the draft."

Included in the company are Bleu ("High School Musical"), Eric Nelsen (2015 Emmy winner for "The Bay Series"), Hunton (Elphaba on North American Wicked tour), Gertner (Olivier nominee for The Book Of Mormon), Asher Grodman ("As the World Turns") and Talisa Friedman (The Last Goodbye). Standbys are Derek Carley (Flashdance) and Jenna Carley ("Twenty-Five Five").

The Dodgers will be produced by Ashley Kate Adams (La Cage Aux Folles) of AKA Studio Productions and Jim Kierstead (two-time Tony Award-winning producer). The creative team includes set design by Michael Carnahan and Ann Beyersdorfer (The Marvelous Wonderettes), lighting design by Jen Schriever and Ben Green (Eclipsed), sound design by Alex Mackyol of Diablo Sound and costume design by Ovation Award winner Ann Closs-Farley (The Pee Wee Herman Show). The general manager is Evan Bernardin. Casting is by Daryl Eisenberg (Altar Boyz).

The Dodgers will continue through Feb. 28 at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.
