Neil Patrick Harris hosted the Nov. 13 ceremony at Los Angeles' Orpheum Theatre. Presenters included David Hyde Pierce, Doug Savant and Amy Brenneman.
The Ovation Awards, which are presented by the L.A. Stage Alliance, are a peer-judged award established in 1989 that honor "artistic excellence of L.A.'s theatres and theatre artists, and their continuing contribution to the vibrant cultural scene."
Composer Jerry Herman received a Career Achievement honor. California Institute of the Arts Community Arts Partnership (CAP) received the Community Outreach Award.
