Cabaret & Concert News Four-Time Tony Nominee Judy Kuhn to Salute Rodgers-Guettel Family in Pittsburgh Concert The Fun Home co-star sings the songs of Richard Rodgers, Mary Rodgers, and Adam Guettel.

Four-time Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn will perform her solo concert Rodgers, Rodgers, and Guettel March 13 at the Cabaret at Theater Square in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The 7:30 PM show salutes the work of the songwriting family that includes Richard Rodgers (The King and I, The Sound of Music), his daughter Mary Rodgers Guettel (Once Upon a Mattress), and her son Adam Guettel (The Light in the Piazza). She told Playbill.com that the concert playlist will include “Oh What A Beautiful Morning”; “This Can’t Be Love”; “Hello, Young Lovers”; “Dividing Day”; “Through The Mountain”; and “Hey, Love.”

The performance is part of a mini tour of the show, which will include stops at Cabaret at The Commons in Columbus, Indiana, on March 9; The Cabaret in Indy for two shows on March 10 in Indianapolis; and two more shows at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey on March 18.

Kuhn recently returned from performing on Playbill's Broadway on the High Seas 8 cruise, shortly after completely a stint as Golde in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, which followed her Tony-nominated performance as Helen, the mother in Fun Home. She earned her other Tony nominations creating the role of Cosette in the original 1987 Broadway production of Les Misérables, creating the role of Florence in the 1988 Broadway production of Chess, and playing Amalia in the 1994 revival of She Loves Me. Kuhn also supplied the singing voice for the title character in the animated Disney film Pocahontas, introducing the song “The Colors of the Wind.”

Kuhn was recently a special guest on Playbill Travel’s Broadway on the High Seas 8 tour to the Caribbean.

Kuhn is also planning an April 20 concert Seth Rudetsky & Judy Kuhn: A Broadway Cabaret & Discussion for the Jewish Arts Collaborative in Natick, Massachusetts, and she will take part in the May 6–8 Lyrics & Lyricists concert at the 92nd Street YM-YWHA in Manhattan, titled Songbook Classics by Unsung Lyricists.
