The National Theatre’s production of J.T. Rogers’ Oslo is set to begin performances in London September 5. Directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, who also staged the New York premiere, the show features Toby Stephens (Private Lives, The Real Thing) in the role of social-scientist Terje Rød-Larsen, with Tony nominee Lydia Leonard (Wolf Hall/Bring Up the Bodies) as his wife, diplomat Mona Juul, and Peter Polycarpou (Oklahoma!, Les Miserables) as Ahmed Qurie, the former Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority.
Oslo was awarded the 2017 Tony Award for Best Play, in addition to earning Best Play recognitions from the New York Drama Critics' Circle, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Drama League, Obie, and Lucille Lortel Awards.
