Halley Feiffer, Lee Sunday Evans, John Glover, and Marsha Mason are the latest round of artists to take part in the Lucille Lortel Foundation’s Live at the Lortel podcast series, profiling artists and industry members working Off-Broadway.
Eric Ostrow hosts the 45-minute conversations, which are taped before a live audience at the Lucille Lortel Theatre Off-Broadway. Live at the Lortel conversations are free and open to the public.
Playwright and actor Feiffer, whose play Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow is currently running at MCC Theater, will join Ostrow August 4 at 7 PM.
Evans, the Obie Award-winning director-choreographer of Dance Nation and recently appointed artistic director of Waterwell, will be interviewed August 6 at 6 PM. A second taping will follow at 8:30 PM, featuring Tony and Obie Award-winning actor Glover (Love! Valour! Compassion!), who returns Off-Broadway in Fern Hill this September.
The final round of tapings will take place August 9 at 3 PM featuring four-time Academy Award-nominated actor and director Mason (The Goodbye Girl, Only When I Laugh), who currently stars in Little Gem at Irish Rep.
Previous guests have included Charles Busch, Jackie Hoffman, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Michael Greif, Michael Mitnick, Adam Gwon, Lonny Price, Joe Iconis, and Duncan Sheik.
