Video Hear Nathan Lane Sing 'Gay Old Life' From Dicks: The Musical

The movie musical, an NSFW take on The Parent Trap, hits theatres October 6.

Ahead of the film's upcoming October 6 release, a track has been released from the soundtrack to Dicks: The Musical. Hear Tony winner Nathan Lane sing "Gay Old Life" in the music video above. The track is also available on streaming networks.

The work, an NSFW spin on The Parent Trap, is based on Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson's stage musical Fucking Identical Twins, which debuted at NYC's Upright Citizens Brigade in 2014. Jackson and Sharp reprise their stage performances as a pair of long-lost twins who work to trick their separated parents into rekindling their romance. Lane and Megan Mullally co-star as those parents in the film adaptation. Also featured in the cast are Bowen Yang and Megan Thee Stallion

Dicks: The Musical premiered at Toronto Film Festival earlier this month (read reviews here) and will get a wide release in movie theatres October 6. The film is the first movie musical from Everything Everywhere All At Once studio A24.

The project features original songs by Sharp, Jackson, and Karl Saint Lucy. Larry Charles (Borat) directs.
