The London production of Heathers the Musical plays its final performance at The Other Palace September 3. Based on the cult classic 1989 film that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, the revival of the hit musical opened June 28, 2021.

Leading the closing cast is Miracle Chance as Veronica Sawyer and George Renshaw as Jason ‘J.D’ Dean, respectively. The titular "Heathers" are Olivia Barnett-Legh as Heather Chandler, Kia-Paris Walcott as Heather Duke, and Katharine Pearson as Heather McNamara.

The final ensemble includes Katie Ramshaw as Martha Dunnstock, Seb Harwood as Kurt Kelly, Cristian Zaccarini as Ram Sweeney, Rachel Breeze as Ms. Fleming, Alexander McMorran as Ram's Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach, Alexander Service as Kurt's Dad/Veronica's Dad/Principal Gowan, Elliot David Parkes as Beleaguered Geek, Carly Burns as Midwestern Surfer Punk, Georgia Anderson as New Wave Party Girl, Sophie Hutchinson as Drama Club Drama Queen, Georgia Iudica-Davies as Young Republicanette, Bibi Jay as Stoner Chick, Kaine Ruddach as Preppy Stud, and Lewis Asquith as Hipster Dork.

Heathers: The Musical follows Westerberg High student Veronica Sawyer, who's on track to become one of the most popular girls in school after befriending the beautiful but cruel Heathers, only to meet a mysterious teen rebel who changes everything. With a book, music, and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O'Keefe, the musical premiered at Los Angeles' Hudson Backstage Theatre in 2013 before moving Off-Broadway the following year.

The New York run would prove to be short-lived, running less than four months, but the musical followed the success of its source material to become a cult favorite thanks to its cast album and productions at regional theatres and schools.

The musical subsequently bowed at London's The Other Palace in 2018 before breaking box-office records and transferring to Theatre Royal Haymarket the same year. Since its debut, the production has toured the U.K. and played an encore run at the Haymarket that later transferred back to its original home at The Other Palace, where it was filmed on stage and broadcast on Roku last year.

The London production is directed by Andy Fickman with choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell, and sound by Dan Samson.
