Honoring excellence in Los Angeles and Orange County theatre for the year 2006, the 38th annual L.A.D.C.C. Awards will be presented at a ceremony March 19 at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, CA.
Richard Montoya, Ric Salinas, and Herbert Siguenza — the trio known as Culture Clash (Zorro in Hell, Water & Power) — will co-host with Back Stage West critic Wenzel Jones. Six special awards (listed below) will also be bestowed to theatre artists for outstanding achievements.
The Troubadour Theater Company (Much ADoobie Brothers About Nothing) and the cast of The Marvelous Wonderettes are currently scheduled to perform. More performers and presenters are to be announced.
