Lesli Margherita, Daniel Reichard, and Tony Award honoree Ben Davis have joined the cast of the The Broadway Musicals of the 1940s concert set for March 27 at The Town Hall in Manhattan.
The 8 PM event, part of Town Hall's long-running Broadway by the Year series, will feature the music of songwriters including Rodgers & Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, and Kurt Weill, including the showtunes “So in Love,” “Right as the Rain,” “This Nearly Was Mine,” and “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered."
Margherita (Matilda ), Reichard (Jersey Boys) and Davis (Violet) will be featured, along with Kendrick Jones (Shuffle Along), the previously announced Tony winner Karen Ziemba (Bullets Over Broadway, Curtains, Contact), nightclub star Klea Blackhurst, and Steve “The Whistler” Herbst.
The concert is created, written, directed, and hosted by Scott Siegel.
