Lincoln Center Theater will offer a limited number of $35 tickets for its upcoming one-night-only gala reading of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Much of the original cast from the Tony-winning play by the late Christopher Durang will reunite for the gala, to be held May 7 at 6:30 PM at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on the set of the currently running production of Uncle Vanya

Audience hopefuls can enter the lottery now through April 24 at 11:59 AM. Winners will be chosen at random on April 24, 25, and 26 at 12 PM. Click here to enter.

Directed by Bartlett Sher, the staged reading will feature Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce, Kristine Nielsen, David Hull, Shalita Grant, and Liesel Allen Yeager—all members of the original company with the exception of Hull. Hull was recently seen on the New York stage alongside Rachel Bloom's Death, Let Me Do My Show

The comedy, a riff on the plays and characters of Chekhov, opened at LCT’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater November 12, 2012, and subsequently transferred to Broadway's Golden March 14, 2013, going on to win both the Tony and Drama Desk Awards for Best Play.

The gala evening will support Lincoln Center Theater’s productions and education programs. Serving as 2024 Gala co-chairs are Brooke Garber Neidich, Daniel Neidich, Sarah Long, and David Solomon. Vice-chairs include Katherine Farley and Jerry I. Speyer, Marlene Hess and James D. Zirin, Judy and Will Hiltz, Sandra and Howard I. Hoffen, Kewsong Lee and Zita J. Ezpeleta, and Elyse and Michael Newhouse.

Gala tickets can also be purchased at LincolnCenterTheater.org.
