The London revival of Fiddler on the Roof, which continues through March 9 at the Menier Chocolate Factory, will transfer to the West End.
Directed by Trevor Nunn and starring Andy Nyman as Tevye and four-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn as Golda, performances will begin at the reconfigured Playhouse Theatre March 21 for a limited engagement through June 15. Opening is scheduled for March 27, and tickets will go on sale to the general public February 6. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
The Menier production, which began in November, also stars Harriet Bunton as Hodel, Dermot Canavan as Lazar Wolf, Stewart Clarke as Perchik, Matt Corner as Fyedka, Joshua Gannon as Motel, Louise Gold as Yente, Kirsty MacLaren as Chava, Molly Osborne as Tzeitel, Miles Barrow, Sofia Bennett, Lottie Casserley, Lia Cohen, Shoshana Ezequiel, Fenton Gray, James Hameed, Matthew Hawksley, Matilda Hopkins, Adam Margilewski, Robert Maskell, Benny Maslov, Gaynor Miles, Ellie Mullane, Craig Pinder, and Valentina Theodoulou.

Fiddler on the Roof, the story of Tevye the milkman, his wife, and five daughters, features music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and a book by Joseph Stein. The musical was last seen in London in May 2007 at the Savoy Theatre with Henry Goodman as Tevye.
