News Molly Ringwald Makes Café Carlyle Debut Tonight Molly Ringwald, known for her starring roles in the films "The Breakfast Club," "Sixteen Candles" and "Pretty in Pink," begins a series of performances at the Café Carlyle Oct. 7.

An Evening with Molly Ringwald continues through Oct. 18, featuring songs from the Great American Songbook and Ringwald's album "Except Sometimes."

Ringwald's stage credits include How I Learned to Drive, Cabaret, the Tony-nominated Enchanted April and the West End production of When Harry Met Sally.

Ringwald is joined by her musical director and pianist Peter Smith (all dates except Oct. 9, when he will be substituted by Laurence Hobgood), Tony Jefferson on drums and Trevor Ware on bass.
