HalfPint at Night, a new late-night variety show curated by Denise Manning (What to Send Up When It Goes Down, God Is a Comedian) and SRĐA (director of The Band at the End of the World, NUBIA), will play Signature Theatre’s SigSpace November 10–12 at 9:30 PM. Manning also hosts.

The series will kick off November 10 with drag performer Luxx Noir London, Nick Rashad Burroughs (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical), and director and comedian Zhailon Levingston. November 11 will welcome drag performer Brita Filter, Cuzins (the musical duo comprising Yonatan Gebeyehu and Amara Granderson), and actor and comedian Auberth Bercy, while November 12 will feature activist and drag artist Junior Mintt, rapper, playwright, and poet UGBA, and comedian and actor Adrian. David Samuel will DJ all three nights of HalfPint.

On November 13, beginning at 5:30 PM, SigSpace will feature a concert response to Quiara Alegría Hudes’ memoir My Broken Language—the theatrical adaptation of which is currently being performed in Signature’s Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre through November 27—from Bushwick Book Club.

The concert, hosted by Zabryna Guevara, who stars in Signature's production, will feature performances from Bushwick Book Club Founder Susan Hwang, dance artist Troy Ogilvie, singer, songwriter, and producer Anni Rossi, singing cellist Patricia Santos; and freedom singer spiritchild. This event will also be streamed on Stellar.

Signature Theatre Director of Artistic Programs Iyvon E. says, “With these upcoming SigSpace events, we’re thrilled to be creating a point of intersection for worlds that may brush up against each other but don’t often meet. While always thinking through a theatre lens, we want to open our spaces to drag, comedy, music, literature, and expand our community through an ongoing dialogue between artists and various forms.”

SigSpace brings artistic programming to the Pershing Square Signature Center’s public spaces and sustains its lobby as a free public workspace and social hub for New York City artists.

SigSpace events are free; RSVP at SigSpace.net.
