Jellicle cats came out June 20 for the opening night of Cats: "The Jellicle Ball" at the Perelman Performing Arts Center. The new, anticipated revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, where the action is set in a modern underground ballroom and the performers were not dressed as cats, opened with much fanfare.
During the performance, the production (which featured a mix of ballroom performers and Broadway alums) received two mid-show standing ovations, after Robert “Silk” Mason's magic-filled performance as Mistoffelees and “Tempress” Chasity Moore's rendition of "Memory."
