Joseph Thalken is the music director for the upcoming concerts, titled A Life in Notes. Conceived and directed by Tony winner Scott Wittman, LuPone's latest act is written by Jeffrey Richman. Performances are scheduled for Connecticut, New Jersey, Texas, California, and more, including an April 8 evening at Carnegie Hall.

LuPone also won Tonys for her performances in Evita and the 2008 revival of Gypsy; she won her first Olivier Award for her work in The Cradle Will Rock and Les Misérables, and her second for the 2019 London revival of Company.
