Set in 1950s London, the movie follows Inspector Stoppard (Rockwell) and rookie Constable Stalker (Ronan) as the film adaptation of a hit play is delayed following the murder of a pivotal crew member. The two are recruited to investigate the murder. Watch the trailer above.
Rockwell is currently starring in the Broadway revival of American Buffalo alongside Laurence Fishburne and Darren Criss. The performer—who also starred in Fool for Love and A Behanding in Spokane—received a 2022 Tony nomination for this role as Teach in the David Mamet play. His screen credits include portraying Bob Fosse in FX's series Fosse/Verdon, as well as starring in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Iron Man 2, and Jojo Rabbit.
Most notable for her breakthrough role in Lady Bird, Ronan made her Broadway debut as the lead antagonist Abigail Williams in the 2016 revival of The Crucible. She went on to star in the Greta Gerwig-directed remake of Little Women.
The cast will also feature two-time Tony nominee Ruth Wilson, Adrien Brody, David Oyelowo, Harris Dickinson, Shirley Henderson, Sian Clifford, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Reece Shearsmith, and Charlie Cooper.
