Phillip Howze's Six Characters completes its world premiere at Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 August 25 in the company's Claire Tow Theater Off-Broadway. Performances began July 13, and the production officially opened July 29, with Dustin Wills at the helm. Read the reviews here.
Described as a play about "power, belonging, and the institutions we build," the work follows a group who storm a renowned cultural center and wreak havoc.
The cast features CG, Will Cobbs, Seven F. B. Duncombe, Claudia Logan, Julian Robertson, and Seret Scott.
The production also has scenic design by Wills, costume design by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Masha Tsimring, and sound design by Christopher Darbassie. Victoria Whooper serves as stage manager.
