Backstage at the Marquis Theatre, Elizabeth Teeter sits at a dressing room table, getting ready to transform into the dark-haired, unusual, and grieving teenager Lydia Deetz. The curtain for Broadway's Beetlejuice will rise in just a couple of hours, and there's make-up, a wig, and a costume to get into.

Teeter portrays Lydia as she encounters a recently deceased couple, deals with a scheming demon, and reconciles with her father in the musical based on Tim Burton's cult classic film.
