Awards Suffs, Merrily We Roll Along, The Notebook, and More Broadway Favorites Earn 2025 Grammy Nominations

Six cast recordings are up for Best Musical Theater Album at the 67th annual ceremony.

Nominations have been revealed for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, set to be handed out February 2, 2025 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Earning nominations in the Best Musical Theater Album category (as announced by Tony winner Ben Platt) are the Broadway albums of Hell's Kitchen, the revival of Merrily We Roll Along, The Notebook, The Outsiders, Suffs, and the revival of The Wiz. The list of which actors will share the win should their album take the category have not yet been revealed.

Also picking up nominations were Aaron Lazar, for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Impossible Dream, which was recorded to benefit ALS research; Barbra Streisand, who received a nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media for her performance of "Love Will Survive" for the film The Tattooist of Auschwitz, and Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording for narrating her audio book for My Name Is Barbra; Broadway alumni Sabrina Carpenter, taking in nominations for Best New Artist, Album of the Year for her record Short N' Sweet, Song of the Year for "Please Please Please", and both Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Espresso"; Ariana Grande, taking in nominations for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "The Boy Is Mine - Remix" with Brandy and Monica and Best Dance Pop Recording for her single "Yes, and?"; and Green Day, taking in a nomination for Best Rock Album for their new record Saviors.

Additionally, composer Kris Bowers received a Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media (Includes Film And Television) nomination for the additional material he provided to the film adaptation of The Color Purple.

The eligibility window for the 2025 Grammys was music released September 16, 2023 through August 30, 2024. Recording Academy members will vote on winners between December 12 and January 3.
