July 23: One of the Bard's rarely produced romantic dramas, Cymbeline is the summer's second production for Shakespeare in the Park. Helmed by Tony winner Daniel Sullivan, the Shakespearian fairy tale features a stellar cast that includes Hamish Linklater, multi-Tony nominee Raúl Esparza, Lily Rabe and Patrick Page.
OPENING
July 23: Comedian Colin Quinn, who is currently featured in Amy Schumer's film "Trainwreck," returns to the New York stage with his latest solo comedy, Colin Quinn The New York Story, directed by fellow comic Jerry Seinfeld. July 30: The Drilling Company has been staging Shakespeare in the Parking Lot for 20 years, bringing free theatre to the Lower East Side during an annual two-play festival. This year's line-up concludes with Macbeth, directed by Jess Ontiveros and running through Aug. 15.
LAST CHANCE
July 7-27: See the best in new voices in musical theatre at the New York Musical Theatre Festival; the annual event offers an eclectic range of innovative new works in a variety of genres and styles.
August 1: "Seinfeld" creator Larry David made his Broadway debut with the laugh-out-loud comedy Fish in the Dark. The cast will take their final bows at the end of the month, including Tony Award-winning comic actor Jason Alexander, best known for playing George Costanza in David's hit TV series.
August 2: Grammy winner Brandy Norwood had the theatre community in fits of laughter recently when the star belted out a song to disinterested commuters on the New York City subway. She's also set tongues wagging for her stellar performance as Roxie Hart in the Broadway revival of Chicago. She takes her final bow Aug. 2.
July 28-31: Two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole returns to 54 Below with an encore engagement of her acclaimed cabaret show Big Noise From Winnetka.

July 30: Broadway in Bryant Park continues its free summer lunchtime series of performances from the best of on and Off-Broadway musicals. Hosted by 106.7 Lite FM, this week's schedule is set to feature performances from Matilda, On the Town, Les Misèrables and The Fantasticks.
July 31: 2005 Tony winner for Best Musical, Monty Python's Spamalot is revived at The Hollywood Bowl this summer featuring Tony nominee Kevin Chamberlin, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Idle and Christian Slater among others.
July 31: Vassar College and Powerhouse Theater stage a four-day workshop of Noir, the new musical from Spring Awakening composer Duncan Sheik, inspired by classic film noir. With a book by Kyle Jarrow and direction by Rachel Chavkin, the newest work is centered on a heartbroken man who, spending days alone in his apartment, becomes obsessed with the couple next door and is subsequently caught up in a web lies.
