See more of Seymour! The Skivvies are reviving their stripped-down concert of Little Shop of Horrors-inspired music. Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, actor-musicians known for undressing onstage and singing comedic mashups, will perform Little Shop of Rocky Horrors at Feinstein's/54 Below February 9 at 9:45 PM ET.
Little Shop of Rocky Horror, which originally premiered last summer, combines Molina and Cearley’s stories of playing Seymour and Audrey in the cult musical with hits from Alan Menken’s score and favorites from The Rocky Horror Skivvies Show, the band’s debut album. After seeing the show, Alan Menken reportedly exclaimed, “That was so great! Should I take my pants off too?”
The show will feature Tony nominee and original Off-Broadway Seymour Lee Wilkof, Asmeret Ghebremichael(The Book of Mormon), Diana Huey (The Little Mermaid national tour), and Travis Kent(Disaster!). The band includes Andrew Gutauskas, Nate Hopkins, Rob Morrison, Josh Roberts, and Debbie Christine Tjong.
The Broadway revival starring Steve Carell and William Jackson Harper opened April 24. Laurence Fishburne and Edie Falco were among those in attendance.
