Cristin Milioti is taking Gotham by storm! Per Deadline, the Tony nominee will lead the new limited series spinoff of DC's The Batman.

The Penguin, the series' current working title, will feature Milioti as Sofia Falcone, the daughter of powerful mob boss Carmine Falcone. Milioti will go head-to-head with series star Colin Farrell as The Penguin as the pair wrestle for control of Gotham city. Debuting in 1996, the character is considered to be one of the most compelling female villains in the Batman universe post 1990, with Sofia serving as a parallel to Sonny Corleone in the Godfather series.

It's been 10 years since Milioti earned her Tony nomination for Once, and the performer has yet to return to Broadway, but she's kept plenty busy. She appeared for two seasons on the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother, and is currently in the second season of the HBO Original series Made for Love, playing opposite fellow Tony nominee Billy Magnussen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike).
