Off-Broadway News Video: See Highlights From Daphne at Lincoln Center Theatre/LCT3, Officially Opening October 23

Jasmine Batchelor stars in the surreal new play by Renae Simone Jarrett, directed by Sarah Hughes.

The world premiere of Renae Simone Jarrett's Daphne officially opens October 23 at Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3's Claire Tow Theater. Performances began October 7, and the run will continue through November 19.

Jasmine Batchelor stars in the title role, Daphne, who has left the city to live with her girlfriend in the woods. After a series of unsettling incidents lead her to question reality, a strange transformation takes hold of her body. Batchelor is joined by Denise Burse as The Stranger, Naomi Lorrain as Wendy, Keilly McQuail as Winona, and Jeena Yi as Piper.

Sarah Hughes directs the surreal work, which includes sets by Maruti Evans, costumes by Oana Botez, lighting by Stacey Derosier, and sound by Sadah Espii Proctor. Kara Kaufman is stage manager.
