INTERVIEW: What Does Josh Gad Have in Store for Season 3 of Apple TV+ Animated Musical Central Park?

The story centers on Central Park manager Owen Tillerman (voiced by Tony winner Leslie Odom, Jr.) and his family (Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess, and Emmy Raver-Lampman). In a constant campaign to make people fall in love with the New York City park, Owen often finds himself at odds with socialite Bitsy Brandenham, who wants to buy the park for real estate development. Gad, a Tony nominee for The Book of Mormon, also appears in the series as its narrator Birdie, a Central Park Busker. Original cast member Kristen Bell returns in a different role for Season 3, playing the sister of Hahn's Paige Tillerman.

The series features songs by resident songwriters Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, as well as guest songwriters such as Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and Open Mike Eagle.
