Lachat Farm is nestled in the heart of Weston, CT, a mere 50 miles from NYC, and offers a muchneeded cultural respite - a place where time slows down and the vibrance of the arts intertwines with the wonder of nature. Offering events like last year’s Renee Elise Goldsberry concert, the Steely Dan
Duo and Once the Musical, Lachat has developed a stellar reputation for bringing first-class talent and programs to regional audiences.

SEEKING:

HARRY: Male, 35 – 60, Any Ethnicity. Genius chef in love with his work. Devoted to his craft at the expense of everything/everyone else. Hot headed and supremely self-confident. Traits: Intense, perfectionist, stubborn. Skills Required: Very comfortable cooking and able to cook onset.

MIKE: Male, 35-60, Any Ethnicity. Pragmatic, long-suffering business partner and friend to Harry. Deep respect for Harry’s culinary genius but is desperate to finally make their investment pay off. Traits: Practical, frustrated, loyal.

RODNEY: Male, 18-35, Black. Young waiter with dreams of his own that slowly become apparent throughout the course of the play. Opinionated but manages to navigate the high-pressure environment with spirit and a sense of humor. Traits: Calm, quietly ambitious, naturally humorous manner.

EMILY: Female, 30-45, Any Ethnicity. Business consultant brought on by Mike to help them capitalize on their growing popularity and (finally) turn a profit. Loves and believes in their restaurant and Harry’s genius. Always able to read the room. Traits: Smart, strategic, confident, and energetic.
