DESCRIPTION

Constellation Stage & Screen (Bloomington, IN) is seeking AEA actors for our winter production of Maple and Vine by Jordan Harrison. Ansley Valentine, Director. This fascinating contemporary play centers on an overworked couple who try to escape their normal lives by moving to a “utopian” community that is stuck in the 1950’s.

1st Rehearsal – March 4, 2025
Performances – March 27 – April 13, 2025
Venue - Constellation Playhouse (85 seat theater)
SPT-4 Contract ($482/wk), travel and housing provided for non-local artists

Seeking actors for the following role:
RYU – mid to late 30’s, male identified, Japanese-American. Ryu is a stressed out plastic surgeon who is trying to help his wife get out of her rut, but is more skeptical than she is of this new opportunity.
