BREAKDOWN
MILLIONS
SEEKING:
[CARL/ENSEMBLE] Male, 30s-40s. Any ethnicity. Representative of Irondale Security Protection Services. Sweet natured. Disarmingly sincere, although he may have a hidden agenda. A calming presence, he makes it clear to the residents that they will be burgled and that it’s not necessarily a bad
thing. Has an excellent tenor voice (A2-F#4 (strong falsetto to C5)). FEATURED ENSEMBLE.
[MR. ROTH/ENSEMBLE] Male, 30s-40s. Any ethnicity. Humorless drama teacher. Impatient with his students. The sense is he would rather be doing anything but directing another nativity play. ENSEMBLE.
[ST. PETER/ENSEMBLE] Male. 30s-40s. Any ethnicity. Larger than life, but patient, with a fatherly presence. Wise. Shares his perspective on the nature of miracles and sainthood with Damian. Has an excellent bari-tenor voice for their featured song (C#3-B4). FEATURED ENSEMBLE.
[STREET CORNER SANTA/REPO MAN/ENSEMBLE] Male, 30s-40s. Any ethnicity. STREET CORNER SANTA: Slight, barely fills his Santa suit. Longtime resident, he knows the town and everyone in it. The sense is he is just scraping by. Doubles as REPO MAN: Strong, working class.Kind but firm, he has had a rough life. He is considerate enough to give Ron some heartfelt advice. ENSEMBLE.
[ST. CLAIRE OF ASSISI/GUIDANCE COUNSELOR/ENSEMBLE] Female, 40s. Any ethnicity. ST. CLAIRE: A worldly and wise saint. Damian’s first saintly confidant. She is very personable, very relaxed, easy to talk to. No nonsense, she sings about the benefits of ridding yourself of worldly
possessions. Has an excellent mezzo soprano voice (G3-Eb5). Doubles as GUIDANCE COUNSELOR: Thoughtful and patient. She is justifiably concerned with Anthony and Damian’s behavior. FEATURED ENSEMBLE.
[REPO WOMAN/ENSEMBLE] Female, 20s-40s. Any ethnicity. Strong, working class. No-nonsense. Less caring than her co-worker. ENSEMBLE.
[CUSTOMER SERVICE REP/ENSEMBLE] Female, 30s-50s. Any ethnicity. Slightly cold and officious, but always with a smile. Passive aggressive. She reluctantly attempts to help Anthony open a bank account. ENSEMBLE.
