Title: Stagehand/Carpenter

Department: Production Department

Reports To: Production Manager

Internal Contacts: Faculty, Staff, Students

Over-hire workers, Guest Artists, Designers

External Contacts: Vendors, Parents, Patrons

Employment Status: Part-Time; Non-Exempt; Union

Domains:

· Load in/Strike and run crew for theatrical productions at Manhattan School of Music.

· Work available in various venues at Manhattan School of Music.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

· Must be comfortable using power tools.

· Stagehand experience preffered.

Job Details:

· This work is performed under a collective bargaining agreement with IATSE Local 1.

· The Stagehand/Carpenter does not have a set schedule, and may be required to work evenings and weekends
