Riverdance is entering its 30th Anniversary year and we are looking for a Video Technician/Deck Electrician to assist the Lighting team on this tour. Riverdance has been an international sensation and has amassed an enormous following which is still filling theatres, and arenas. Many of the crew members on the North America National Tour have been with this show for a decade and we hope to find another member who will enjoy the experience of working with a tight-knit group of professionals.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Alongside the Head Electrician, you will be tasked with leading the install and programming of a 50’ wide x 20’ tall LED video wall along with 2 smaller ground supported LED walls.

· Managing the video load-in and load-out of each venue on the 6 month tour.

· Advancing the show with the Head Carpenter as needed.

· Working with the Crew Heads to manage local union crew at each show stop.

· Working with the Crew Heads to pack, load-out, travel, load-in, and tech all relevant elements of the show between tour stops.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

· Knowledge of D3 video software

∙ Detail-oriented, willing to complete both complex and menial repetitive tasks with exacting precision.

· National touring experience, is a plus.

· Knowledge of theatrical rigging.

· Willing to work in an 8-show a week schedule.

· Strong ability to lead and instruct a crew of up to a dozen people, with varying skill levels.

· Able to physically lift 50 pounds, comfortable lifting and walking backwards, comfortable walking up and down stairs.

· Excellent practical, problem-solving, organizational, planning and time management skills.

· Team player with a positive attitude.

SALARY & BENEFITS

· This is a full-time touring position with a base weekly salary of $2,060/week.

· All Overtime, 7th Day, etc. are paid on top of the base salary per the Full Pink Tier 2 Touring Agreement.

· Benefits Per IATSE Full Pink Contract
