International News Hamilton Olivier Winner Giles Terera and More Join West End Rosmersholm 1984 playwright Duncan Macmillan penned the new adaptation of the Ibsen play.

Giles Terera, who earned an Olivier Award for his performance as Aaron Burr in the West End premiere of Hamilton, will return to the London stage this spring in Ibsen's Rosmersholm. The West End production, featuring a new adapted script by Duncan Macmillan, will begin April 24 at the Duke of York's Theatre before officially opening May 2.

As previously announced, Hayley Atwell and Tom Burke will star in the Ian Rickson-directed staging. Also joining the cast are Lucy Briers (Wolf Hall), Jake Fairbrother (Lady From the Sea), and Peter Wight (The Birthday Party).

Set on the brink of an election, the play follows John Rosmer (Burke), a man torn between an idealist vision of the future and the ghosts of his highly influential, ruling class family.

The engagement, scheduled through July 20, hails from Sonia Friedman Productions.
