Before This New Year, a new play from Liana Sonenclar (To Be Honest), will get an Off-Broadway world premiere at The Duke on 42nd Street at NEW 42 Studios next year, with performances set to begin in March 2025. Obie winner Knud Adams (English) will direct.
The work follows Alison Bennett, a high school track star who's forced to confront some old feelings and life-changing decisions when she reconnects with a former teammate while home for the holidays after her first semester of college.
Jonathan Demar is producing the work, with Mott/Fischer Productions serving as general manager.
Casting, creative team, and dates will be announced in the new year.
