A host of Broadway favorites will be part of Westport Country Playhouse's September fundraising concert at the Connecticut venue.

The September 14 evening, entitled The Best Is Yet to Come, will feature the talents of Tony winners Laura Benanti, Bonnie Milligan, Debra Monk, Lillias White, and Kristin Chenoweth; Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham; and Tony nominees Raúl Esparza and Norm Lewis. 

Chenoweth and Drama Desk Award-winning conductor and music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell will be saluted for their past work at the Playhouse, in addition to performing. The 2024 Westport Country Playhouse Leadership Award will be presented to Westporters Harold Bailey, Jr. and Bernicestine McLeod Bailey.

The Playhouse’s biggest fundraiser of the year will celebrate the music of the late, Tony-winning composer Cy Coleman, including songs from Sweet Charity, Barnum, On the Twentieth Century, and more.

Proceeds will benefit the non-profit performing arts center and professional producing theatre, including its work on stage and throughout the community.
