The West End production will give an exclusively sneak peek on television on BBC's Comic Relief this month.

Help is on the way, dear! Mrs. Doubtfire has completed its cast for the upcoming London production. The show will exclusively preview its upcoming West End bow on television March 17 on BBC’s Comic Relief. The West End bow will then begin performances May 12 at the newly renovated Shaftesbury Theatre where it will open June 22.

Joining the cast are Laura Tebbutt (School of Rock) as Miranda Hillard, Samuel Edwards (Anything Goes) as Stuart Dunmire, and Kelly Agbowu (Sylvia) as Wanda Sellner, as well as Nicole Carlisle, Joseph Dockree, Corey Mitchell, Rhys Owen, Christopher Parkinson, Micha Richardson, and Samuel Wilson-Freeman.

Max Bispham, Elliot Mugume, and Frankie Treadaway will alternate the role of Christopher Hillard while Scarlett Davies, Angelica-Pearl Scott, and Ava Posniak will alternate the role of Natalie Hillard.

As previously announcedAvenue Q alum Gabriel Hick will lead the West End premiere as Daniel Hillard, co-starring with Carla Dixon Hernandez (Matilda the Musical) as Lydia Hillard, Cameron Blakely (The Addams Family) as Frank Hillard, Marcus Collins (Kinky Boots) as Andre, and Ian Talbot (Hairspray) as Mr. Jolly. The company will also include Joshua Dever, Samuel Wilson-Freeman, Maria Garrett, Kiera Haynes, Adam Lyons, Lisa Mathieson, Ellie Mitchell, Matt Overfield, Tom Scanlon, Vicki Lee Taylor, Rebecca Donnelly, Amy Everett, and Paulo Teixeira.

The West End run follows the musical's U.K. premiere at Manchester Opera House last year, and a Broadway run starring Rob McClure at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre from December 5, 2021 through May 29, 2022.

Mrs. Doubtfire, based on the 1993 movie about an out-of-work father who disguises himself as a British nanny to spend more time with his children, features a score by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick and a book co-written by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell (the writing team behind Something Rotten!). Four-time tony winner Jerry Zaks directs, with choreography by Lorin Latarro and music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Ethan Popp. As on Broadway, the production will include scenic design by David Korins, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Philip S. Rosenberg, sound design by Brian Ronan, hair and wig design by David Brian Brown, and make-up and prosthetics design by Tommy Kurzman. The London production is cast by Stuart Burt, with children's casting by Verity Naughton.

Kevin McCollum and Jamie Wilson, who produced the musical's Broadway premiere, are producing the West End bow as well, by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical.
