A benefit performance of Bradley Jones’ Dr. Bradley’s Fabulous Functional Narcissism…The Psychoanalytic Odyssey of a Once Glorified Chorus Boy is set for April 30 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in the West Bank Cafe. Proceeds will go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Jones, who appeared in the original Broadway production of A Chorus Line and the 1977 revival of Jesus Christ Superstar, left the world of performing arts in the nineties to become a psychoanalyst, but returned a few years ago with the solo show.

In it, Jones sings, tap dances, and explores narcissism, combining his early life in the performing arts and his more recent medical practice experience. The production received a MAC nomination for Best Debut Show earlier this year. Winners will be announced on March 26.
