For Ars Nova's 20th anniversary season, the theatre company will introduce the What’s Ars Is Yours: Name Your Price ticket initiative in support of its mission to make theatre accessible. Audiences will be invited to "name their price" for tickets to every performance during the season, which includes two off-Broadway productions at Greenwich House. 

"We’re celebrating our 20th Anniversary in a time of immense change,” said Producing Executive Director Renee Blinkwolt. "We’ve all gone through so much in the last few years, and for most of us the ins and outs of our daily lives, and our priorities, have radically transformed. I’m so excited to throw our doors wide open and meet our community where they are and as they are."

Founding Artistic Director Jason Eagan said, "More than any one artist or show over the past 20 years, I'm most proud of Ars Nova’s charge to innovation and unwavering commitment to unknown artists with potential. Our efforts along with the unending goodwill of alumni, audiences, and supporters, have created an essential vanguard for propelling early career talent on both sides of the stage into professional lives in the arts."

The season will begin with HOUND DOG by Melis Aker, set to run October 6–November 5 at Ars Nova @ Greenwich House. The work, co-produced with PlayCo, will take audiences to Turkey to follow a young musician returning home to care for her widowed father. The venue will later see nicHi douglas's choreopoem (pray) which plays March 9–April 16, 2023, in collaboration with S T A R R Busby, JJJJJerome Ellis, and Tariq Al-Saber and co-produced with National Black Theatre.

Additional works include the 16th annual All New Talent Festival, the "blowout bash" NOVA BALL, a celebration for the Broadway debut of KPOP (which premiered at Ars Nova in 2017), Rags Parkland Sings the Songs for the Future by Andrew R. Butler, and more.
