Peter Pan Goes Wrong Will Take Flight Across the U.K. | Playbill

International News Peter Pan Goes Wrong Will Take Flight Across the U.K.

With the comedy's Broadway run beginning this month, the show announces a U.K. tour will launch this fall.

Olivier-nominated Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Mischief Theatre's follow-up to 2012's The Play That Goes Wrong, will be going on tour around the United Kingdom this year. The tour will kick off September 23 at Richmond Theatre.

Further stops for the tour will include Aylesbury's Waterside Theatre, Nottingham's Theatre Royal, Liverpool's Empire, Southampton's Mayflower, Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre, Bath's Theatre Royal, Leeds' Grand Theatre, Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre, Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre, Newcastle's Theatre Royal, and Sheffield's Lyceum Theatre. Further dates and casting will be announced at a later date.

The West End show has previously announced a limited 16-and-a-half–week transfer to Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre beginning March 17.

Co-written by Play That Goes Wrong writers and Mischief company members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields, Peter Pan Goes Wrong sees the Cornley Drama Society back to present another play‚ J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, with yet more technical misfires. Peter Pan Goes Wrong made its world premiere at London's Pleasance Theatre in 2013 and its West End debut in 2015 following a U.K. tour. The play was adapted as a TV special for BBC One in 2016, and made its North American premiere in 2022 at Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, Canada.

The work's original creative team features director Adam Meggido, scenic designer Simon Scullion, costume designer Roberto Surace, lighting designer Matt Haskins, sound designer Ella Wahlström, and co-composers Richard Baker and Rob Falconer

Peter Pan Goes Wrong is produced by Kenny Wax Ltd and Stage Presence Ltd.
