Another America, written by Bill Rosenfield and inspired by Dan Austin's documentary film True Fans, opened at London's Park Theatre April 6, and the reviews are in.
Directed by Joseph Winters, the new play follows three friends who escape the internet and embark on a cross-country road trip in the wake of a troubling election, discovering different versions of themselves and their country along the way. Jacob Lovick, Rosanna Suppa, and Marco Young star. The production also features lighting by Catja Hamilton.
The work is the latest from Rosenfield, an American playwright and former cast album producer who now lives in London. Best known to Playbill readers as one-half of the Old Show Queens web series, Rosenfield's past work includes 46 Beacon, Sunshine and Shadow, Let Me, and Bridal Terrorism, along with adaptations of The Most Happy Fella for Encores! and Noël Coward's The Rat Trap.
