Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, the international hit musical details the rise of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

“It’s incredibly fitting to kick off our 86th season with this newly reimagined version of a true Jersey story,” said Paper Mill Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee in a statement. “To our great pride, our ‘four guys under a street lamp’ will be the first homegrown Jersey Boys production in the state of New Jersey. Oh, what a night it will be!”

The upcoming production will also have choreography by Kyli Rae, music direction by Geoffrey Ko, scenic design by Kelly James Tighe, costume design by Julie Thiry, lighting design by Paige Seber, sound design by Megumi Katayama, hair and wig design by Ashley Rae Callahan, fight and intimacy direction by Michael Rossmy, casting by Tara Rubin Casting, and production stage management by Anna Belle Gilbert.

Set and props are provided by The REV Theatre Company in Auburn, New York; original scenic design is by Marshall Pope and Chad Healy.

Jersey Boys opened in New York in November 2005, subsequently winning four 2006 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The production ended its 11-year run January 15, 2017, after 4,642 performances at the August Wilson Theatre. The musical also began an Off-Broadway run in November 2017 at New World Stages; that production closed May 22, 2022.
