The UK Tour of Singin' in the Rain begins performances March 17 at Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre, and will proceed to visit theatres in Woking, Southend, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, Birmingham, Southampton, Liverpool, London, Nottingham, Bradford, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Plymouth. It is scheduled to continue through August 20.

The production is directed by Jonathan Church with choreography by Andrew Wright. The musical is a stage adaptation of the popular movie musical of the same name which starred actors Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. First coming to the West End stage in 1983 and Broadway in 1985, Singin' in the Rain features such favorites as "Make 'Em Laugh," "Good Morning," "You Are My Lucky Star," and the title song "Singin' in the Rain".

Leading the production are Sam Lips (Cats) as Don Lockwood, Charlotte Gooch (Top Hat) as Kathy Selden, Ross McLaren (Sleepless) as Cosmo Brown, and Jenny Gayner (Chicago) as Lina Lamont.

A few guest stars will be taking over as principal cast members at select locations, reprising their roles from the show's 2021 run at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, including Faye Tozer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) as Lina Lamont at tour stops in Canterbury, Woking, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, and Newcastle; Kevin Clifton (Rock of Ages) as Cosmo Brown at stops in Bristol, Cardiff, Southampton, Liverpool and Glasgow; and Adam Cooper as Don Lockwood in Woking, Manchester, Glasgow, and Plymouth.

Rounding out the cast is Sandra Dickinson as Dora Bailey, Michael Matus as Roscoe Dexter, and Imogen Brooke as Zelda Zanders. The ensemble comprises Briana Craig, Alastair Crosswell, Sandra Dickinson, Lavinia Fitzpatrick, Alex Given, Ryan Gover, Ashleigh Graham, Thomas Inge, Robin Kent, Joshua Lovell, George Lyons, Amonik Melaco, Ashleigh Morris, Peter Nash, Dale Rapley, Molly Rees-Howe, Harriet Samuel-Gray, Heather Scott-Martin, Megan Speirs, Ben Whitnall, and Ellie May Wilson.

The creative team includes Simon Higlett as set and costume designer, Robert Scott as musical director and supervisor, Tim Mitchell as lighting designer, Gareth Owen as sound designer, and Ian William Galloway as video designer. Jane Elster has provided additional choreography, and the production is cast by Stuart Burt.
