The Tony Awards have revealed a new home for the upcoming 2024 ceremony, which will be held June 16, 2024. For the first time in Tony Awards history, Lincoln Center will host the awards, with the ceremony set to hit the David H. Koch Theater.
The most frequent home for the Tonys in recent years has been Radio City Music Hall, though other venues have included the Beacon Theatre on the Upper West Side, Broadway's Winter Garden, and the United Palace in Washington Heights. The David H. Koch Theater hosts a variety of arts programming throughout the year, most notably New York City Ballet's entire NYC season.
The cut-off date by which productions will have to open to be eligible for the 77th Annual Tony Awards has been set for April 25, 2024, and nominations will be announced April 30. This makes the full eligibility period for this season's new productions April 27, 2023–April 25, 2024.
Details about streaming and a TV broadcast have not yet been revealed. The Tonys generally broadcast live on CBS, with live streaming available in recent years via Paramount+.
The Tony Awards, which honor the best of Broadway, are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
