The Tony-winning musical will begin its fifth engagement at the Toronto theatre in January 2024.

The Book of Mormon is set to return to Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre next year, marking its fifth engagement there. The production will run January 24-February 11, 2024.

The Book of Mormon features a book, music, and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone. The Broadway production, which opened in 2011, is directed by Parker and Casey Nicholaw, and choreographed by Nicholaw.

The musical tells the story of a pair of mismatched Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda to convert citizens to the Mormon religion. When they arrive in Africa, the missionaries find a community grappling with poverty, AIDS, and violence.

The creative team includes set designer Scott Pask, costume designer Ann Roth, lighting designer Brian MacDevitt, sound designer Brian Ronan, and hair designer Josh Marquette. Orchestrations are by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus. Music supervision and vocal arrangements are by Stephen Oremus.
