Plus, see performances from Moulin Rouge! and The Great Gatsby.

Playbill Pride's Celebration in Times Square has begun and it has us feeling...wicked. At the Broadway Pride Block Party, June 28, stars from various Broadway show took to the stage in Times Square. And we have some footage from the free concert. Above, see the show's current Elphaba, Talia Suskauer, and Elphaba standby, Lissa deGuzman, of Broadway's Wicked sing a new version of "As Long As You're Mine."

Below, see Hailee Kaleem Wright sing "Firework" from Moulin Rouge! (and feel like the upcoming fourth of July).

Below, see Samantha Pauly and Noah J. Ricketts duet on "Better Hold Tight" from The Great Gatsby.

The celebration continues June 29. The day's festivities begin with a celebration of the NYC Summer Youth Employment Program at 11 AM, presented by SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. The program was launched to connect young people who identify as LGBTQIA+ with supportive, welcoming paid summer jobs and career experiences. This event will feature performances from Britney with Lesley Salinas and Kai Santiago Alli, Genisys-Exodus, Brandy Light, Elle Prado, and Tormenta.

Next up at 11:45 AM will be the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, which is again teaming with Grubhub to offer grants to NYC-based LGBTQIA+ and allied bars and restaurants. This year's recipients will be recognized on stage at this event

Beginning at 2:30 PM, ViiV Healthcare will present Celebrate You!, featuring a lineup of proudly queer talent celebrating and supporting queens everywhere. The roster includes RuPaul's Drag Race stars Yuhua Hamasaki, Peppermint, Jan Sport, and Scarlet Envy, along with TikTok sensation Gioconda

And starting at 5:15 PM is the return of one of Pride in Times Square's most eagerly anticipated events, the Big Broadway Disco. Get out your best bell bottoms and point the lights at the mirror ball as we dance the night away to classic and contemporary Broadway songs and performances, all with a special disco flare. Joining this dance-filled celebration are host Bryan Campione, DJ Mike Borowski, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Eric Michael Krop, Tracy McDowell, Galyana Castillo, Madge, Darius Anthony Harper, Anne Fraser Thomas, Marti Cummings, Grant Evan, Bianca De Sarro, Kristen Plati, Karley Wasaff, King Queen, Ernest Terrelle Williams, and Paris L’Hommie. Specialty dancers are supported by PJ Adzima, and the fabulous wardrobe is by DW.

The weekend will close June 30 as the Playbill Pride Float returns to the NYC Pride March, with supporting partner Heritage of Pride. Double-decker buses from some of the Pride in Times Square sponsors will also get in on the fun, helping to make 2024 NYC Pride extra special.
